The Bavarian giants have announced that they have agreed the signing of the Germany international and will match his buy-out clause in order to complete the transfer
Bayern Munich have confirmed on their official website that they have completed the signing of Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Mario Gotze. The young prodigy has a contract with the Black Yellows until the summer of 2016,
but the recent league winners have insisted that they will match Gotze’s €37 million buy-out clause.

"Bayern Munich confirm that the club have reached an agreement with Mario Gotze ahead of a transfer on July 1, 2013. Bayern are willing to match the buy-out clause agreed between Borussia Dortmund and Mario Gotze," the Bavarians
announced in an official statement.
However, the Signal Iduna Park outfit stated that the player informed them about his decision to join Die Roten at the end of the season, despite Bayern not making an official bid until now. He said that he wanted to exercise his
exit clause and join their fierce rivals instead.
