The Amsterdam born manager criticised the Bavarians in an e-mail at the start of the week but the club’s CEO claims that the former employee had no right to accuse them.
Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has hit back at the ex-FCB reserve team trainer Andries Jonker in the aftermath of his allegations at the Allianz Arena. The director suggested that the Dutchman was not authorised to
level the statement at Die Roten side and as a result, expressed his anger towards the current Wolfsburg assistant coach.
Jonker criticised FC Hollywood’s youth academy for not being certain about their concepts and philosophy of football. He did this by e-mailing Die Bayern’s board of directors earlier in the week. He also made allegations on other
stuff related to the running of the academy.
Rummenigge said that before speaking harshly about Der FCB, the manager should have looked at himself and analyse the situation without any bias. He further added that there should not have been any e-mail written and sent to them
as it was useless.
The Dutchman could have analysed his own faults and mistakes but he choose the easiest option and ended up being critical of the Bavarian giants. His record for the reserve team fairs poorly. In 34 games, he has won only a mere
eight matches drew 10 and lost 16 with a win % of just fewer than 24 %.
On the other hand, his charge as caretaker manager of Bayern Munich was impressive in which he lost only one game out of a total of 5.
"He should not have written this e-mail. There are situations where you can have a bit of self-criticism. I think we can exclude that in this case," the Bayern director was quoted saying in an interview.
Jonker joined Bayern Munich in July 2009 as an assistant to Louis van Gaal. He was charged with the responsibility of head coach as a caretaker manager from April 2010 in 2010-11 campaign after van Gaal was sacked.
He previously had the duty to coach the academy team of Bayern last season but left the post on 1 July 2012 to manage http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfL-Wolfsburg-c40881 as an assistant coach.
