The Bundesliga side received a massive amount of 3.1 million pounds from European football governing body’s 100 million pounds share to reward clubs for allowing their players for the tournament.
The Bavarians topped the 2012 European Championships payment charts as UEFA compensated the clubs by giving them twice the amount agreed for Euro 2012, and more than 500 teams collected the bonus for releasing their stars to the

Bayern chief executive officer Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, who is also the president of European Club Association, stated that his differences with the FIFA President Sepp Blatter are finally over and it will help other teams get their
promised 70 million dollar share from the 2014 World Cup profit.
The CEO claimed that the European clubs enjoy a good relationship with UEFA and are hoping to have the same effect with FIFA too. The club official revealed that he had a positive discussion with Blatter recently in Zurich, and
is now pleased with the fruitful talks.
''We have very good and fair relations to UEFA and I hope that it will be possible with FIFA as well,'' Rummenigge was quoted as saying in an interview.
''After that meeting I am quite optimistic to find a solution,'' the former West Germany great said.
Rummenigge is asking FIFA to distribute a portion of their revenue between the clubs and increase the authority of the teams regarding the status of their players for international matches.
The FIFA supremo admitted to Rummenigge that he is aware of the fact that football started from the clubs, and therefore, you have to support them in order to promote the game even further.
''Sepp Blatter told me that he recognizes the clubs as the roots of football,'' Rummenigge said.
''You know the roots always need water, and the water has to come from FIFA,” he finally concluded.
