I'm no longer covered by bc/bs. They sent a check to me for an out of network service. It's for an Ambulance ride. I really need money now. The paper from bc said it is my responsibility to pay the provider they don't do it. I have to pay my property tax or they are going to sell my home. Can i use the money and make payments to the ambulance company. I don't want to get jail time or anything like that. I'm desperate.

  1. I would say that if the check is made payable to you, you can do whatever you want with the money.  You know your responsibility to the ambulance company, and you know that expense has to be paid.  You should contact the ambulance company and let them know you'll be making payments to them.

    Good luck!
