  1. Honestly, yes. If my team is down my 10+ runs and it's only the third inning, I really can't bring myself to sit through the entire the game. I might flick back and forth but I can't just watch the baseball game. There really is no fun in watching a game where there is a 99.9% chance that your team is not going to win.

  2. to be honest, most of the regular season is boring. unless it's a big series. but i quickly get out of the baseball watching mood as soon as my team is losing either by a large margin, or losing quickly in the first few innings.

  3. Well, 99% of angel games are a thrill to me, their style of play is exciting ^^ but these past couple of days the offense has been doing so well.. (which is to be honest an awkward feeling as an angel fan because i haven't seen this much offense explode.. hehe angels aren't really known for that)

i have to say.. i'm happy the offense is rolling but i sure do miss those close games ;)

  4. look man i live in miami with our marlins.one day were playing like all stars and the next were playing worst then little league so as marlins fans in miami we go through a roller coaster of ups and downs. but no i dont get bored i love my team

  5. Baseball is one of those sports that you can do something else and watch the game at the same time.  Baseball is all about situations.  If the bases are loaded and there are no outs..I'm giving me full attention but if the score is 7 to 0 in the six no matter if my team is losing or not, I will do something else and just check the score every few minutes.  Also it depends on the time of the year.  These are the dog days of summer.  When the CUbs were bad during this time of the year, I would only really watch games to see if Sammy Sosa could hit 2 HR's or drive in 5 RBI's when he was hitting 60 HR's year back in the day or if Mark Prior or Kerry Wood would throw a potential no no and strike out 15 plus.  Otherwise the games were pretty meaningless. Teams without any stars tend to have boring games because they just do enough to win games but nothing spectular.

  6. if its a game against a team thats not good, and not in your division, it can sometimes get boring yea.  Typically i watch every game i can, which probably amounts to about 2/3, and if its not against an interesting team and theres no action going on its hard to watch.

  7. No because I don't get to watch my team often. I live in a different state.

  8. Yes! Even when they are #1

  9. When they are getting their @SS Kicked and are making mental mistakes i get mad and bored, but besides that i love watching baseball

  10. i think you have to have a passion for baseball to not get bored-- i never get bored watching it but i can deffinatly see where ppl are comming from saying it is boring to watch

  11. Yes

  12. When the Cards are losing by a bunch, I just turn the game off (I have MLB.TV).  Otherwise, I'll go watch something on TV.

  13. My dad would kill me for this, but yes. Unless it's a blowout win, or a fantastic pitching performance, or a close, bat swinging game, I'm bored.

  14. lol. i'm a big time dodger fan, but i was never into watchin games on tv because they can get boring at times with pitch after pitch after pitch. but don't get me wrong, i LOVE baseball. its the best when you're there, with a hot dog in your hand in the stands, doin the wave and seein ur friends on the jumbotron. if i could always watch the dodgers play like that, then helll no i wouldn't get bored

  15. Well, I'm sorry to say this especially to the Giants fans, but i'm always bored unless its Matt Cain, Lincecum, or sometimes Jonathan Sanchez on the mound. Zito is just not dominant, and d**n he ripped us off.

  16. Occasionaly during road games when I have to watch on TV and can't be at the ball park.

  17. No. I never get bored with baseball. I watch every single game that I possibly can.

  18. With the White Sox, you really never know what's going to happen. So that's an advantage because it's exciting to see if they're playing like whiz or playing like fizz. And with the AL Central race going on, every game is exciting.
