Can you spell names like Dachshund or Chihuahua without using spell check?

I can also spell Shepherd (No A in there folks...) and Shih Tzu - Yahoo's spell checker wanted me to replace it with Shh Tu

Those two, yeah.  Some of the more uncommon ones - not so much - and spell check doesn't help with those.  Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen anyone? (Just call it a PBGV).

I can spell Chihuahua because i had a crazy english teacher in college and she loved her dogs, and every test we had extra credit was to use words she gave us in a sentence, and Chihuahua was always one of the words!

Yes, and I pride myself on it.  I was in a regional spelling bee when I was younger, and although breeds aren't a part of it, I like to be able to spell anything and everything.

Yes, but if I'm not very familiar with the breed, I do look it up. If I'm typing too fast, I may make a mistake but generally double check things like that.

depends on what mood I'm in...lol! some days i feel dumber than others. I never can remember how to spell chihuahua, but i say weenie dog instead of dachshund, so i don't mis spell it.

I can spell Dachshund and Chihuahua without spell check, but, I get messed up with Weimeraner sometimes.

Spell check doesn't even know how to spell that one, so, how can I be held responsible for it? :-)

The only reason I can spell the first two is because I used to have Chihuahuas and Molly is part Dachshund. Just because I can spell Dachshund doesn't mean I can pronounce it right, though. haha.

A good number of people on here don't have a clue how to spell even the easiest of words.  They failed at parsing, as well.  They also can't read (like when the "spell checker" comes up, they can't see it)?

Sorry, will get off my soap box.  But of course, I know how to say and write all but some of the weird new breeds.

Yes, I first learned to spell dachshund when I was around 5 out of a dictionary. I learned Chihuahua from the internet when i was around 7.

Yes,  I'm a champion speller!  In my spelling bee's in the past five years, there were 48 levels.  I did so well all those years, that they had to add more levels.  I should be in sixth grade, but I'm in eighth.  BTW, Dachshund and Chihuahua.
