Beach Of Falesa expected to dominate in Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Fillies Handicap
Beach Of Falesa has got a solid chance of winning the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Fillies Handicap at Killarney in Ireland on Wednesday, July 18, 2012. The winner will be awarded a cash prize of €13,000 in the end.
There are some very good runners lined up for action in the 1 mile 3 furlong event, which is scheduled to start at 18:10 GMT. This will make the competition quite interesting and the spectators will be looking forward to it. The going will be yielding, which
means that almost all runners will have no issues with the conditions.
Looking at the circumstances, it appears that Beach Of Falesa will walk away with a comfortable victory in the race, as she has been delivering some very good results in recent times. She is relatively new to the business, but that does not rule her out
of contention from winning the race.
The young filly has been given a general starting price of 5 to 6 by the bookies, which clearly shows that they expect her to dominate proceedings at Killarney. She is carrying the winning momentum right now, thus the punters should also not doubt her abilities
and risk the maximum number of bets on her.
The three-year-old filly first appeared onto the scene in May this year and was unable to catch the attention of anyone because of her poor performance. She was priced 7 to 1 in her first ever outing and was expected to fight at the front, but failed to
do so, finishing seventh overall.
Dylan Thomas’ daughter struggled to make an impression in her next race as well and disappointed her team once again, finishing ninth this time around.
However, the A. P. O'Brien’s trainee made a strong comeback in her next outing and finished third, showing that she was capable of fighting at the front. This gave her immense confidence and she followed it up with a runner up position at Roscommon.
A couple of decent performances helped the Irish runner to gain the confidence of the bookies and she was rated as the favourite to win her previous two events. She lived up to the expectations of everyone and finished on top in both of them.
At the moment, Beach Of Falesa is carrying excellent momentum and it will be difficult to stop her from winning under promising jockey, J. P. O'Brien.
