  1. a restaurant or a little covered canopy. There are several little parks near the beach, that would be good too and find someone who would cater for cheap or have family helped with the food.

  2. If you can find a piece of beach and there is no law against it have a beach party!

  3. Okay, it sounds like you'll be traveling to Cocoa Beach for the wedding, so why not do a small reception there with the wedding party and have a larger party at either a home or hall back home. Plus then you could have more family and friends be involved.

If you don't like that idea, you could always rent or buy a canopy tent large enough for everyone (to have some shade) and find an area on the beach where you'd be allowed to set it up. You could have it like a beach picnic style.

  4. a restaurant would be the best way for a small party liekt hat.  Find something with a large enough private room for your guests and room to mingle and dance.  Most will do no room fee with a minimum food purchase.

  5. check into the area to to if there are any public hall, gymnasiums, gazebos, etc. that you can rent. many of these places have kitchens for food storage and provide sound and light equipment.

as far as a beach party goes...this is a great idea, but you will want to check with the local authorities and see if you need an additional permit for this.

  6. I would call the chamber of commerce in that area and ask if there is a small reception site or a place where you can hold an outdoor party without needing any permits.  I hope this helps.

  7. Many restaurants have private party rooms. Ask the hotel if they have any suggestions, or call the Cocoa Beach Visitor's Bureau (you should be able to find the number online). You can also look online for restaurant reviews, and if you see a place that sounds good, call and ask if they do weddings. Be sure to ask for photos and menus to consider BEFORE you book a place.
