Okay I love the beach but I am always worried about stepping on things like sharp shells but really most of all a fish I don't like fish when i am in the water with them <--- some wired creep out thing

And another thing is waves like when they break i don't like when it is coming at you and you know it is going to break I mean like when you are standing up and you are a little before where the waves break and the occasional one breaks on you but before they break I always kinda get freaked

What should I do about those things^and don't say STAY OUT OF THE WATER or any variation of that

  1. when a wave breaks right in front of you. try to go under. hunington beach has only a little bit of shells and fish. plus it's nice there.

  2. before the wave breaks, go under water right under it. Then it won't knock you down. Whereever you're swimming, there should not b any harmful fish, so that's not really a valid concern. Fish are adorable and really cause you no harm. Sharp shells and getting pinched by crabs hurt but not like unbeaerably and the more that happens the less it hurts, because your feet get harder from building an immunity to the shell pain. Also, don'r get freaked out by waves breaking, because that is a super natural thing and you cannot control that....Hope I helped!!

  3. if your worried about steppin on things you could get yourself a pair of neoprene booties or take it to the extreme and get river shoes.

try and watch the wave breaking and swim to the left or right of the break. if you can swim over the green part of the wave just before it breaks then that's the easiest place to pass it
