Beach areas near Gerona(Spain)?

Question

Does anyone know of any beach reports/areas in/near the Gerona region. Preferably not full of English tourists! Any hotels known would also be appreciated. Hotels suitable for older children/teenagers would be a plus. Thanks! xx

There´s a lot of nice beaches in Girona region,but I´m afraid they are ALL full of English/British tourists.I can assure you Cadaqués is one of the nicest,and not one of the most popular,it is quieter than Roses,L´Escala and other famous ones located in Costa Brava (Girona area).

Girona coast is a very nice area,and very touristic especially in the summertime.

Search the webs and find out,but these are my favourite...and teenagers can enjoy themselves as all the hotels are suitable  for them.I go there every year as I don´t live far from the area.
