Beach recommendations in san francisco to go to alone at night?

can anyone recommend any beaches that are safe to go to alone at night. at around 2 in the morning? Someone told me I could go to ocean beach but i also heard its too windy at night. Any other recomendations?

Why would you want to go to a beach at 2 am on your own sounds suspicious to me.

the one near pier 39 should be safer, because it has clubs and bars close by, the touristy area. it's called crissy field and something else beach, i dont' remember the name but it's beautiful there. you can see GG bridge and bay bridge and east bay(i live in easy bay).not too windy either. good luck and be safe.

OCean Beach is open and there may be people with bonfires near by.  Crissy field in the marina by Golden Gate bridge will be less windy but may be foggy.  Aquatic Park by the end o fisherman's wharf is not beachy so avoid that.

I got news for ya, they'll all be windy and cold at night.  This project might fare better in another city.

I wouldn't go to any of the beaches in SF at night all alone and certainly if you're female.  Ocean Beach not only get windy and cold at night but there have been shootings out there and gang fights, muggings, etc.
