  1. It depends on what matters to you. If you've dreamed all your life of a church wedding, and religion plays an important part in your life and your relationship, a church wedding might be more meaningful.

If you are "spiritual" rather than religious, or non-religious, or if there isn't a church that plays an important role in your life, or if you are big outdoorsy couple, a beach wedding might be more meaningful.

One is not more romantic than the other.

  2. Can't answer which is more romantic, but for anyone for whom this is a question the beach wedding is more appropriate.

  3. Depends if everyone you want there can make the beach wedding, is it the place you want your honeymoon ?

I am a church wedding fan, then you can get away for your honeymoon.

I did the church wedding twice, enjoyed them both, now looking for the third.

So nobody can really say which is better

  4. Ive been to a church wedding and a wedding that was on the lake. I think being near the water was more beautiful, just the shimmer from the water. Then they had like an ocean theme even though it was on a lake and not a beach. Good Luck!

  5. beach wedding. As a teenaged girl i can honestly say all ive ever wanted was a beautiful beach wedding when i grow older and get married! I hope you have a wonderful wedding wherever it is and i hope you and your soon to be spouse have a great life together!

  6. Beach

  7. All weddings are romantic :)

For me it would be more romantic in the church because at the beach you have to deal with sand, the weather other beach goers. All that stuff would distract me.

  8. I definitely find the beach more romantic than church - you won't find me making out in the pews on Sundays!

That doesn't mean I think beach weddings are better. But you asked which was more romantic. Totally different question.

  9. What are you a whale? thats not a wedding!

  10. For sheer romance, you can't beat sunset at the beach.

  11. Most def a Beach wedding - a church is so restricted... I got married on Maui on the beach  and it cant get any more romantic then that - plus the photos were amazing - Morning is best for photos - so you get the color of the ocean - evening is more difficult because of the sun set.

    Go for the Beach!

  12. Oh hands down a BEACH wedding! Had a good freind do a bch and boat wedding in San Diego. Who needs all those church folks there ;-)

  13. It depends on the location of the beach..

  14. My daughter has been in both types of weddings in the last few years.  (Her own wedding was in a church.)

She said that the beach weddings sound SOOOOOOOOO romantic, and they are SOOOOOOOOO not romantic at all.  You've got sand.  You've got sand fleas.  You've got mosquitoes and gnats and all kinds of flying things that will be attracted to the flowers or to the odors of perfume and makeup.  You've got the wind and the heat and the humidity.  (We're in the south.  It might be different if you're talking about a beach in Oregon or Maine.)

Don't forget that there will be boats in the water, and jet skis, and looky-lous who don't realize that their motor is ruining your video or their sail is ruining the photograph.  There will be other people on the beach, and they will have drunks, small children, and dogs with them.  It isn't only in movies that someone's Irish setter gets loose and tears off the tablecloth on the cake table, sending the cake into the surf or sand.

In other words - if you get married out of doors in a public place like a beach, very little is going to be under your control.  If you get married in a church, you have a much better chance of controlling the environment and controlling access to the ceremony.  It's a peace-of-mind issue more than anything.

  15. I think a beach wedding would be more romantic , like getting married by the sunset sounds so romantic.

  16. my dream wedding is in the beach, go for it.

It's more refreshing and nice, and the sun, wow its just amazing
