I'm planning on attending a Beaches resort this fall with a friend. We don't know if we should go to Jamaica or Turks and Caicos? Anyone been? Any ideas? How was the trip?

  1. Wow. It seems like nobody on Yahoo wants to give anybody suggestions for a vacation. Im planning a vacation also and I had considered jamaica but I heard thats its really dangerous. If you leave the resort some hotels make you sign a release form! I looked up cayman islands. That looks beautiful!! You should check into it. Will update you if I find any more info.

  2. Beaches resort on Turks and Caicos is very popular with tourists and locals.  It is beautifully situated on the beach which has consistently won awards as the "best beach in the world" and itself is an award winning resort, which has hosted the World Travel event for several years running the last such occasion being last weekend!) http://www.turksandcaicostourism.com/go/...

It is all inclusive, with various types of cuisine being on offer at the various restaurant points, so you don't have to worry about extra spending, but some people like to go out to local restaurants occasionally for fine dining (very expensive!). The rooms are very comfortable, but it takes some time to find your way around such large grounds. All kinds of water sports are offered and you can have a relaxing stay.

  3. You are aware that Beaches is a family type resort. With Sesame Street Characters and other fun family activities.

    Here is a Beaches website.

I can recommend Turks and Caicos. I loved Grace Bay where Beaches is located. One of the prettiest beaches and water I have ever laid eyes on. The snorkeling was the best. Most do a water excursion. The water is this aqua blue/green and so clear. White sand beaches.

Check out this website on Turks and Caicos

Have a fun trip what ever island you end up on.)

  4. Never mind those places, go to El Conquistador in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. This Resort has there own private little Island, in which they shuttle you by boat and only there Guest have use of the beach. Excellent and private.
