  1. It is wonderful if you are bringing children. they have something for every age group.

Bring a lot of sunscreen and apply throughout the day. the ocean is unbelievable and clearer than the pools!

the people there are unbelievable too. they do anything to accomodate you and make you happy.

the food is amazing. be sure to check out the adult only french restaurant in the french village.

they are adding on a new part with SO many more places to dine, activities to do and it will be finished in january 2009.

just have fun. it is amazing. my family has travelled all over the caribbean and we have never found such clear water, such great service, and such a beautiful and fun resort that has SO much to do included in the all inclusive. we have been there the past 2 julys and we plan to go back next july. HAVE FUN :)

also, if you are looking for ur children to meet friends or to get away from them for a while, they have an EXCELLENT babysitting camp service where they take care of the children for you. also be sure to check out the pizza place for lunch! so good :)

if you get there early and have to wait for your room still, they allow you to go and eat your lunch or breakfast .. i suggest going to arizona's while you wait!

giuseppe's is the only dinner place that we did not like because it was an italian buffet, but it has a good breakfast buffet.

    everything is amazing!

Here are some photos from when I went so you can get an idea:

also, to the person who commented above. there is a lot to do...but there is a great layout that connects everything together no matter where you are you are not far away, but it never feels crowded because there is so much to do. if you forget a camera they have photographers there for you and you can purchase their photos! make sure to make a reservation to the hibachi place when you get there before it gets booked up! :)

the rooms are very clean and since the 2 times we have been there, they have redone the rooms. they are brand new and really keep up with everything to make it luxurious.

  3. If you're a lover of resorts, then you will enjoy yourself. If you are keen on the idea of getting far from the madding crowd and having peace and quiet on the beach repeatedly voted the best in the world, then it is always an option to walk down the beach away from the main drag. I would advise caution when it comes to walking in the road outside the resort on your own, as you pass through less than affluent areas. It is safer, should you want to explore Grace Bay, to walk up the beach to the more built up area and make your way out through one of the resorts there, which will take you right into the shopping/banking area of Grace Bay. It is good to get away from an all-inclusive resort from time to time to see what's going on in the world outside. My impression of Beaches, by the way, was of a place where you tended to walk quite a bit, as it is spread out over a sizeable area. However, with all that food and drink laid on, it helped absorb the calories!

  4. It's located on the fantastic Grace Bay Beach and you are in for a treat.

Just bring plenty of sunscreen. Pack light, it's very casual island.

    Enjoy)

  5. All beaches resorts are great. Just remember that taking children young and old can be hard with long flights.
