Beaches in Istanbul?

How good are they? how clean are they? what is the life like on these beaches?in Barcelona, they've got small bars with lounge music playing...

Turkey has a very long coast. Some beaches are good, some are rocky, some are not so good, some have bars like you said, some are really isolated.

If you want fun, try popular beaches around Bodrum.

Yes there are two main spots where you can enjoy sandy beaches:

1-Sile-Agva on asian side

2-Kemerburgaz on european side.

They are quite clean.But very crowded on weekends.

Never go to public beaches in Istanbul because they're so uncomfortable. try private club beaches in Fenerbahçe. here are some info for these beaches.
