Bead shops in Guanajuato, Mexico?

I will be spending several weeks in Guanajuato, Mexico in July and would like to know if there is a place to buy beads--any kind, including silver, semiprecious stones, glass, ceramic, natural materials. I make all kinds of beaded jewelry and would love to bring some materials back with me.

Hi. Making beaded jewelry is been very popular in Mexico for a few years, and maybe you will find bead shops in Guanajuato... BUT the beads, crystals, stones, etc are  either chinese, indian or european. Lots of chinese stuff.

I'm not an expert, but I would recomend taking a look at local artcraft markets and silver jewelry shops while you are there. You might find old jewelry with beads made of stone or clay that you can buy and refurbish into new pieces, or small silver pendants that you can incorporate in your work. I've seen necklaces made of clay beads in that type of markets all over Mexico, but not the beads itself.
