Ok here is a little info =)

Im looking for the colored thread, it is thin but looks like to me that it has wax over it? Has any ever a "book thong" its a book marker made of thread and beads, i want to make my own but I can seem to find the right thread. I dont want to use regular thread becasue I know if spilt, and get all messed in little time unlike the ones used for the beading/book marks. Does anyone what type of thead I need to get? I dont know the specific name or where it can be bought? I did look at Michaels and all they mostly had was hemp, other natrual threads, leather and of course wire, but there was nothing else. Please any help would be great!!!

  1. I've only seen it called waxed beading thread, or pre-waxed thread.

  2. nymo?

  3. It sounds like you are looking for waxed linen.

I found it at a basket makers supply.

  4. try hobby lobby  or Jo ann's or FIre Mountains Gems online

  5. I use NYMO size D it is very strong and can be used with beads as small as size 13.

    I hope this helps.

    Have fun beading!
