Beagle dogs....???? help?

how do i keep my beagles out of the trash and is it normal for them to do it all the time

You might use a child gate to keep them out of the kitchen.  I moved my trash can to the laundry room where the dogs can't get into it. It is harder on me that way, but it keeps them out of trouble.

Yes it is very normal for them to do that unfortunantly. If you live in the country let them out once and a while to run and sniff because they're bird dogs and coon dogs they like to hunt and run, they especially like to run deer if they're big enough. If you don't live in the country take him/her out for a walk and spend alot of time with them and if that doesn't work then use a shock collar and put it on the lowest setting on there and just tap it everytime he/she starts to get in the trash, hope this helps.

Get a stronger sturdier trash can or lock it away/ put it somehwere they can't get to. But be sure that you do stop it, because in the ebst situation you'll have a big mess to clean up and worst situation you'll be taking your dog to the vet for a cut muzzle or an emergency from eating something bad for them in the trash.

Ugh.  My beagle used to be obsessed with getting into the trash. Every trash can in the house...We kept all trash cans up out of reach for a couple of months and then corrected her every single time she began trying to get in it after that. Also, we never left her alone in the house unless the kitchen can was/is up out of reach.  She eventually decided not to do it anymore, but still 2 years later if there is something very delicious smelling in the kitchen garbage she will get in it if she gets a chance.  Beagles are hard headed, one of the toughest breeds to train, b/c they do things when THEY decide to do things.  But they are wonderful dogs and we love them just the same!

Is the trash outside or your kitchen trash?

If it's inside then put it under your sink and lock with a baby lock.
