Question:

Bean/Corn Pasta?

Has anyone tried this pasta made from bean and corn flour? I tried ziti from Heartland's Finest. I found the taste to be nice, but by the time I got the sauce together the pasta had collapsed and lumped together. This pasta cooks by soaking in just formerly boiling water for two minutes.

Is this only good for a casserole, maybe lasagna? Would like to hear other's experiences.

  1. i have never tried it but perhaps you can try rinsing the pasta once is had completed cooking to eliminate as much of the starch as possible.  or you can add butter/oil to the noodles to keep them from sticking.
