Beanos Kenny to make winning debut in William Hill Trophy at Hove
Beanos Kenny has shown a lot of class and potential in the recent trials, and looks to be in an excellent position to start his journey on a winning note at Hove on Thursday night. J. Heath’s charge is all set to unleash his talent in the William Hill Trophy,
a 515 metres flat race, scheduled to get started at 21:56 GMT.
The brindle dog travelled nicely in the fresh trials. On his latest outing over 515 metres, the skilful hound stopped the clock in 30.17 seconds. His first trip over this distance was the best of all.
On September 10th, the son of Killahan Panther clocked the distance in just 29.97 seconds, grabbing the first rank by 12¼ lengths. If he manages to carry forward the momentum, it will be an easy journey for him tonight.
Other contestants in the line-up are: Tyrur Willyjoe, Billy Mac, Snowdon Karen, Casani Beauty and Cashen Alejandro. All participants need to pull up their socks, as it will be a very tough clash. The competition will be for a prize worth £175.
Billy Mac is an experienced hound, but his fresh form is a concern. After doing well in the trials, M. Wallis’ charge could not perform well at this level, and faced a couple of unlucky defeats lately.
Casani Beauty could be punching above optimum weight here. After making a few nice trips at the lower level, the black b***h returned to this class at the end of September, when finishing fourth behind Brave The Times. It is not easy to see Snowdon Karen
coming home in front. Cashen Alejandro may have limitations exposed in this company.
Tyrur Willyjoe, one the other hand, is a hound to watch out for. According to our calculations, the fawn dog is the biggest threat to Beanos Kenny, who beat him in the recent trials. It is a wonderful chance for the J. Mullins-trained to dish out revenge,
but an extra special effort is required to do this.
A calculated risk can be taken on Tyrur Willyjoe. However, it is best to stay with Beanos Kenny, who is geared up to make a winning debut. Good luck to all the hounds.
