Bearded Dragon super hyper HELP ME :(?

Ok here's the situation.

My beardie is going super hyper and he's scraping at his window so much he keeps falling, trying to climb his walls too. When I lift him out he just runs around everywhere and I can't lift him anyway he keeps splashing in the water. I'm considering giving him a bath now to tire him out as he hasn't had one in around a week now. IS there an explanation for this? He's had a pinkie and about 6 or 7 waxworms today and he's a 35 cm male, almost 1 year old I think.

It could be the fact that he's hyper...i guess :) does he have stress lines? If hes excessively scraping at the glass you can try putting white printer paper along the inside of the tank and he will no longer be able to see his reflection and should cut down drastically. Make sure you check your temperatures in the tank, make sure the tank is big enough, and depending on what your feeding him daily can have an impact on his energy level.

i have two, one of mine can do that for a month then stop for a while. the other doesn't. different personalities.

well how big is it? it might be a little to big for its cage. Or if u just got it, ur pet might be happy don't worry wait for a month mabey it;ll stop and just calm down. Or just hold him tightly but not to tightly or you'll hurt him good luck

Mine does that, some people have lazy ones other have hyper one. mine is hyper. my scrapes at the glass, i think it might because he can see his own reflextion. There is nothing wrong, just let his run around he will soon tired himself out.
