Bearded dragon at night?

i asked my sis to switch my baby bearded dragon bulb to the red infrared and she dropped it and broke, can i use a Exo Terra night glo its blue ???

  1. Bearded dragons should have no light or heat at night unless the house temp drops below 60F.  If so, use a ceramic heat emitter.  Even red or blue bulbs will disturb a beardies sleep...they need complete darkness and cool nights.

  2. The night glo blue is fine to use. It just gives off blue light verus red. Easier on own eyes at night, the heat given off is the same. I don't have complete darkness for any of my lizards, even my bearded dragon and no one has ever had problems with light at night.  And you don't want the night temp to drop below 65-70, my tank dropped to 60 and Jibblet (bearded dragon) was almost frozen.
