Bearded dragon brumate?

summer is coming to an end and i was wondering if bearded dragons brumate

My daughter and I have had our beardie for 4 years and even though I don't change the temperature in his tank, he brumates every year.  My daughter volunteers at a local reptile rescue center and the beardies there don't at all!!  I guess it just depends on the individual.

Since they're in captivity, as long as you don't change the temps or light hours at all they most likely won't, but some still will, it's no big deal either way.

i've had mine for 4 years. the first winter they were only 6 months and didn't hibernate.  since then they do even though i don't change the temp or lights until they start snoozin.
