  1. Depends. You should take your sick beardie to the vet and find out what is wrong with him. You don't want to get another beardie sick if it is some sort of infectious thing. You should also be very careful when housing two or more reptiles together. Never put two males together because they will fight. Depending on the gender of your current dragon the best combination is two females but you can house a male and female together but make sure to watch them closely.

  2. You need to find out why he is sick before introducing another lizard. Do you want that one to become sick also? Get him to the vet. Is the tank warm enough? If it's too cold then they won't move around a lot, is he shedding? What substrate is he on? You didn't tell us anything, so we really can't help that much. The vet will need to know EVERYTHING that you are doing for your lizard. Good luck.

  3. This is a hard question to answer without knowing what is wrong with your dragon, but there are some general things to consider.

If you are thinking of getting a new one on the assumption that the one you have no is going to die, remember that you could wind up with two dragons in the long run.  Also, anything that is making your dragon sick can make your new dragon sic as well.  This is why reptiles should be strictly quarantined for at least 30 days in order to ensure that new additions to your collection dont cause infections.

Also, if you do wind up with two dragons, eventually they will not be able to live together, anyway, as dragons get territorial and will eventually fight, even in mixed-s*x collections.

  4. thats a good question for the vet..How is he sick?
