Do you think that It would be ok to get another beardie with my female beardie? she ten inch, he's 19 inch.. there about the same age, but he just grew! (4-5 months old)

If he was mean to her, or didn't let her eat.. could i stick a piece of glass in between them? give them both half of the tank? so 20 gallons each? they could see eachother, but not harm eachother..

  1. no. The minimum is 40 gallons each. They are naturally solitary animals and should only be kept together to breed, then the male should be taken out. That size difference is to great. The male will kill the female.

You take care of what you have then when you get the money invest in a new tank. Don't get the new one now.

  2. they will get a long fine as long as it is just a female and a male and when they are full grown they will need at least have a 50 gallon or more BUT IF YOU DO GET ONE GET READY FOR BABBIES haha WELL GOOD LUCK

  3. no 20 gallons is not enough.you need at least 40 gallons for the both of them but the more the better.and the 19 inch male will almost definetly kill a 10 inch female.
