Beardies love standing up??

Question

Do bearded dragons like standing up-I mean lik on their back legs wth the front leaning up against something..my female is alwz doin it b it against the glass in her tank,on my chest,against my handbag,lik she's alwz doin it and most of the time she falls asleep upright on her branch..jus curious..

well wen and inland bearded dragon sleeps they stand up how  ever my beardedragons are sandfires and they sleep on  ground but  bask while leaning on the rock

It's pretty normal behavior for beardies.  My beardie used to sleep like that on her branch until she got the nice new tank with an undertank heater...now at night she buries herself until she's laying directly on the glass where the heating pad is (I do regularly check the temperature there to make sure she can't be burned by it).  At first I thought she was sick because it was unusual behavior for her but she's fine-she just prefers to sleep in the warmest spot available...and it sort of makes her look like roadkill because she flattens herself for maximum contact...

they must like it because when i had my beardie he did it all the time it must be a habit sum get like a little kid picking his nose and eating it

mine do that to i think they do like to because i found mine doine that one time and i thought she was sick but she was fine
