  1. October is a great time to cruise.  Weather will be wonderful in the Bahamas also.   I've been on Disney Wonder, we went in May - and it was great.

  2. Cruise and have fun!

  3. Yes I would.  The advantage of a cruise ship is that it can move.  Since October is during hurricane season, there is a chance a hurricane could force the ship to go somewhere other than its intended itinerary.  Since a land based hotel cannot do this, I would rather be on a cruise ship with a hurricane coming than stuck in a land based hotel with a hurricane coming.

  4. I wouldn't. While the cruise ships will avoid hurricanes and alter schedule to ensure passenger safety why run the risk of a truly lousy vacation. The prices during this time period are greatly discounted for a reason.

Now if you want to add in the cost considerations...if it gets low enough I could change my mind.

  5. No, I wouldn't book a Disney Cruise.  Who wants to be on a ship with 3,000 bratty kids.

Weather in the fall, will bring you wind, hurricane or not.  Wind means rough water and chilly days by the pool.

  6. I absolutely would. I am even thinking about doing it this fall.

The weather for our Disney cruise last Feb. was great in Cayman and Cozumel but way too cold for Key West and the private island. I would think October would be much warmer and chances of a hurricane seem low.

    You can buy insurance.

  7. Ive done med in Nov, begining to get choppy, october should be ok though

  8. Yes, I would. I have cruised in October, just a few weeks ago as a matter of fact and found the weather wonderful. The only issue you can run into is a late season hurricane. Go and have fun, if it rains there is plenty to do inside.
