  1. omaha beach was a bit of a BEAST luv

  2. St Malo is surrounded by beautiful beaches. You can choose to sunbathe or swim on the sandy beaches that seem to go on forever. You can choose to climb and explore the rocks and pools there.

There is a large sea water swimming pool with diving boards if you are brave enough.

You can cross the causeways to little islands when the tide is out.

St Malo is a magical place.  Easy to visit by car, it is a ferry port.

We last visited at New Year and enjoyed the beaches then. We are going back next week to get some more!!

If you want a quieter life, try Perros-Guirec. It is close to Roscoff. It too has a good beach and amazing walks along the coast, with wonderful pink granite stone formations. They look as though they have been sculpted, but they are natural.

Go even further South, and there is Carnac.

Great beach, great family atmosphere, and also famous standing stones.

Hope these give you some ideas.
