Beat Them Bud looks strong for RGOA Members Trophy Race
Beat Them Bud has been winning with regular intervals since the very beginning of the calendar year. July-August had been the best time of his career as the A. Ingram trained black dog accomplished three epic triumphs during that period.
At the moment, the four-year-old veteran hound is awash with winning momentum that will help him make a big impact in tonight’s RGOA Members Trophy Race, scheduled to take place at Romford racecourse.
Beat Them Bud will break from Trap 4 to stretch his legs over 400 metres when the Grade A1 race of £135 starts at 21:57 (GMT).
The son of Droopys Kewell out of Beat Them Millie has gained 4-1 odds for this contest with Droopys Chief being the hot favourite with 5-2.
Despite the fact that Beat Them Bud has been underrated by the punters, he has relatively higher chances to seal success. This is evident from the fact that most of the dog’s victories have come in A1 format. Apart from this, he has made marks in other formats
as well.
On July 24, Ingram’s pupil nicely notched up top spot by the huge margin of 7¼ lengths. He went ahead to win an A2 race by 8 lengths on August 4.
The brilliant sprinter grabbed a classy victory in the Cawkwell Stakes of August 18. Just six days back, he won an A1 meeting by beating Forest Fella.
These stats show that Beat Them Bud has a good hand in A1 races. If he manages to sustain this momentum, plenty of more triumphs will come to his way in the future.
In tonight’s contest, he will have to face sufficient resistance from Bower Gallop who summed up immense confidence by winning A1 400m Flat on October 18.
Prior to this, the J. Reynolds trained black dog had won a T3 and an A2 race on September 25 and October 6 respectively.
Thus, the son of Ace Hi Rumble out of Bower Kate has a lot of firepower in his legs. He will definitely unleash it tonight, giving tough time to Beat Them Bud. Let us enjoy the battle between the two.
