Beautiful Smile. Help Please.

Well I really want a beautiful smile and I have been doing steps to try to create it.

I have had a lot of cavities. All the fillings in my mouth are all porcelain fillings. Therefore it looks like nothing was ever wrong with that tooth.

I have a gap between my to front teeth. I was thinking about getting braces. Is this the right choice?

I was also thinking about after getting my braces that I want to get my teeth whitened. But I also was thinking about getting veneers put in to make some front my teeth look well more attractive.

If I get veneers do I have to skip the braces part.

And were do you ideally get the veneers put in only on the front top teeth. Or only on some of the front top teeth.

Yah I know this is going to cost money but its worth it.

I am just a teenager so is it a good idea to get the veneers be but in at my age.

Thank you so much for all your help.

  1. If you go with braces and whitening, remember that the porcelain fillings will not react to the whitening.  So, in addition to the cost of the braces and the whitening, you'll also have the cost of replacing all visible fillings with ones that match your new shade.  Unless they're more than five years old, most insurance companies will not cover the cost of those replacements.

  2. I would get braces before veneers. A small gap shouldn't be that hard to fix, the difference would be the time and price. Braces will take a little while and veneers would be immediate. Braces I'm pretty sure are less expensive than veneers, although if you get veneers you wont have to bother getting them whitened.
