Beautiful bits of the lake district?

Question

We are off to the lakes in june. Has anyone got any recommendations of beautiful bits(woods,villages,campsites,walks)?

A cinema in windermere which still has the original features of 1930s is good. U can watch modern day movies on it. Definately worth a visit. Also the restaurant by the lake in windermere by all the yauchts is nice.

There's an area north of Windermere on the A592 called Patterdale which is lovely-a really cute little village with hiking trails,shops,picnic sites etc.
