  1. I don't know, but first, that is really cruel, and second, ew.

  3. nasty

  4. EWWW!

  5. I don;t know if you'll find this helpfull, but there was a spa called 'La prairie' in Switzerland that mashed sheep placenta and chicken embroy's for facial treatments. Supposedly it was supposed to give people a good enough firming job to last the rest of their life. This has stopped though I would imagine as it is horrible, an no research or proof supports it.

  6. I've used Hask hair conditioners before, which contain placenta. It definitely does NOT come from humans or pet animals. I believe they get the placenta from cows and/or sheep (but don't ask me how! Hask says it is cruelty-free and not tested on animals). As for the benefits, the claim is that it gives your hair shine and manageability, tames frizz, and is especially helpful for curls. I personally liked it very much (straight hair w/frizz) and since all of their products are under $10.00, if you don't have a moral/vegetable issue with placenta, trying a placenta-containing product is a cheap experiment.
