Is there a way for me to fix it besides closing my mouth, because just closing my mouth and breathing through my nose does not seem to work

  1. You have to know what is causing your dry mouth, some medications can cause it, so definitely check with a doctor. Drink lots of water, about 6 to 8 glasses per day, keep sipping some throughout the day. Reduce the amount of tea, coffee and colas you drink cause they tend to dehydrate you. Also, suck on hard-candy or mints, they'll help to produce more saliva, which hydrates the mouth. Hope this helps!

  2. I suggest you ingest more fluids...water.  Start drinking a 16 ounce glass when ever you can.  When you are walking around or driving around, carry a bottle of water with you and take frequent sips from it.  You will find that the more fluid (preferably water) you take in, the more moist your mouth will be.  I discovered this when I moved from New York(humid state) to Nevada(Dry State).  It really works!  Good Luck :-)

  3. u might have a dry mouth b/c when u open it & u leave it open to breathe through, the air and oxygen gets into your mouth taking out some of the moisture from your tongue and rest of your mouth, causing it to become dry. try for atleast a few sec. or min. breathing through nose and go back to breathing through mouth and try to breathe through nose again & try to do it alittle longer this time if u can. keep doing that until it gets easy. if that doesnt work, i'd see my dentist or possibly i guess a doctor but since it's with your mouth, i would think you'd see the dentist. hope your mouth won't be as dry anymore! if it's your lips that get dry, try l*****g them or putting on lip balm. i have that problem 2!! :-)
