The answer is simple, if you don't trust the net, don't order on the net.  Buy your gun locally.  Besides, wheh you buy locally, you actually get to look at what you are buying before you buy it.

Walmart has a pretty good selection of airguns and there cheap too.  Airgundepot.com is also another great place.

go to http://www.pyramydair.com/ and pick what you want, they will send it to a dealer near you and you can pay for it and pick it up there.

If you "dont trust the net or ebay," get a catalog and use the phone.  That is the only alternative to walking into a store and buying off the rack.
