  1. It depends on the country. Some countries have educational systems that are sub-standard to even the worst U.S. public schools.

    No Child Left Behind tends to hurt U.S. children of disadvantaged backgrounds, not all American children.


  2. Not to sound rude, but I think this No Child Left Behind junk is hurting the smart kids more than helping the stupid ones. For god sakes, if they refuse to learn and be a nothing, leave them be and teach the ones who actually want to do something with themselves.

    For the kids who want to learn but have a tough time with it, pull them aside and give them free tutoring or something.
