  1. It hurts there chances of winning this year. I think with Favre they could have been  a 10-13 win team. With Rodgers they will be a 7-10 win team. But honestly, for the long term success of the Packers, the best thing was to let Brett go and see what they have in Aaron. He was a first rounder and one the bench for 3 years. Its his time, and the Packers future is in the hands of Aaron not Brett. If Brett played this year for GB you would have the same questions about Aaron next season. Is he capable, good enough, etc. Now, even if the season doesnt pan out, you will see what Aaron can do, and at least get him a full year of experience under Center. From what I have seen of Aaron in preseason though, you have nothing to worry about. I think he will have between 3000-3500 yards, 25-28 TDs, and 15-18 INTS.

  2. With no back up on the team besides Matt Flynn, it definatly hurts the packers simply because they have no one to put in when rogers goes down

  3. it hurts the packers, i loved brett favre on the packers, and now that he is off the team i think that was a stupid choice.

  4. Hurts...or will hurt as soon as Rodgers fails miserably!!

  5. It hurts because now Green Bay only has one QB with any experience and that experience is minimal.  If Rogers goes down, all that's left are rookies.

  6. The Pack seems pretty confident in A Rod, so I don't really think it's going to hurt them too much. Plus they don't have to worry about Favre's eventual retirement anymore so they have already moved on. I'm going to say it really helped them, but I hope nothing but the best for both teams.
