  1. Every car sold in the U.S. is basically made either here or in Canada so it doesn't really matter much what brand you buy.  The Japanese and Germans don't ship their cars over on boats.  So that won't help it out some.  If you want to help it out some don't take vacations abroad.  Go to small U.S. towns and spend your money.  That'll help maintain and create jobs.  Personally whatever, I figure the more I surf the internet the more internet jobs i'm creating.

  2. Not me. I believe in buying the best good, with the highest quality at the lowest price. If the American good don't offer that then the only signal as a consumer I have to show what I want is by not buying.

  3. I'd really like to buy an American car, but Ford and GM have really shown a profound lack of foresight in their business the last few years.  Oil prices have been going up for years and they've gone ahead and specialized in gas-guzzling overcompensationmobiles, and now that people want more efficient cars they're having problems.

I'd buy from them if they were making anything I could use, but they aren't.

  4. Nope, I am planning to buy only what I can afford.
