Becides babysitting, or mowing lawns, are there places a 14 year old can work?

It's that time of year to rake the leafs. How about decorating for Halloween and Thanksgiving after cleaning up the yard?

I used to be a shift manager at Taco Bell. We had two girls working there that where 14. This was in Ohio so I don't know about the laws in your particular state. If you google your states child labor law, you could find out. the two fourteen year old girls were only allowed to run cash register and bag food and such because there are age laws about the deep fryers and with sharp instruments like knives. Plus they had to have a break every so often. (more than other employees) If your states allows it go to a fast food restaurant that is short on help. That way they really need people and won't mind catering to you.
