Former Bayern Munich, New York Cosmos and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hamburger-SV-c39485 player Franz Beckenbauer believes that the BVB pairing are one of the brightest talents around and pose a significant threat to any team. He was very impressed by them in their
side’s thrashing of Dutch club Ajax.
The Black Yellows have failed to start the Bundesliga season on a good note, but the young starlets have shown their true class in recent games as Jurgen Klopp’s team moved to the top of the table in Europe’s Premier cup competition.
Moreover, their attacking prowess has been admired by the former star player.
The 1974 World Cup winner claimed that at Spanish La Liga side Barcelona Lionel Messi, Xavi and Andres Iniesta are the driving force behind the team. However, he stated that as a pairing Gotze and Reus are on a whole another level
than others. The duo were instrumental as they tore apart Ajax in the Champions League.

"But as a classic duo there is nobody better than the prolific Reus and Gotze. How they split Ajax in the Champions League impressed me. I hope they do not succeed in Munich," the Bayern Munich legend added.
"We are well advised not to boast of our superiority in the table. I think Dortmund are even better than last season. I think a draw is likely and Bayern could live with that result better than Dortmund," he finally concluded.
Beckenbauer warned his side against complacency and tipped them to look out for the reigning champions. He thinks a draw is a possibility and that would be beneficial for Bayern rather than Dortmund.
