Bayern Munich president Franz Beckenbauer has tipped Hamburg SV manager Thorsten Fink to succeed Jupp Heynckes.
Fink returned to the Bundesliga last year in the position of the manager of Hamburg, after spending two year with Swiss side http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Basel-c39079. The manager has had a huge impact since his arrival and has dragged the team from the foot of
the table to 13th until the mid-season break.
The former Bayern Munich player is still unbeaten so far in the Bundesliga and has proven his credentials in the first two months of his arrival. He is already being quoted as the next manager of Bayern Munich in the press considering
his impressive record.
Beckenbauer claimed that Jupp Heynckes will retire in the next couple of seasons as his contract expires and the former Bayer Leverkusen boss in not willing to continue after that.
The chief hinted that Fink could be a possible replacement as he has the ability and the credentials to become a great manager in the future. He added that the manager’s is a former Bavarian which is a huge plus as he knows the
club’s philosophy.

Beckenbauer admitted that he expected the worst for Hamburg after the disappointing start to the season but Fink has changed it all and now the club is looking to fight for a place in Europe, which is a major achievement. He hailed
the tactician’s impressive run into management so far and is looking forward to working with him in the future.
