  1. Hun..why do you want to start drinking something you don't like? Especially coffee..?  Most people who drink coffee (including me) try to cut back . Some people get headaches from withdrawal if they don't have their morning coffee. Also, it opens your appetite.

If you still want to drink coffee, try flavored ice coffee with milk and sugar. It tastes pretty good.

  2. go for a smoother blend .There are all kinds of coffees try them all ,but not on the same day,and make up your mind.It is truly an individual preference.I prefer cappachino to lattes and I love full flavored rich blends of coffee.

  3. I was also not a coffee drinker and didn't like the taste, but my boyfriend made a coffee shake for me and now I drink 3-4 a day. He puts ice, milk, instant coffee granules (not brew coffee; very important) sugar, and french vanilla liquid creamer. It is wonderful and now I can't live without it; think i will go make one now!

  4. I love coffee but I try to avoid sugars as much as possible.  The bitter taste will grow on you I promise.  Try drinking a light roasted coffee.  All that sugar and cream can really add up to LOTS of calories.  Yes lattes are less bitter than black coffee.

Get whole bean coffee and grind it yourself, and use a french press so you get more of the good fatty acids.

To whoever said tea has more caffeine:  A pound of tea leaves had more caffeine then a pound of coffee beans, but you use a lot less tea to brew a cup than coffee, so you're getting less caffeine.

  5. YES!!! But there are a bunch of different types of lattes.  Just a plain latte is kind of boring.  Go to a Starbucks and ask the barista for some ideas.  (White Mochas are a really good starter!)  Tell the person behind the counter that you're looking to try something with espresso that's not too strong and just a little bit sweet.  Any kind of flavored latte should do (Vanilla is very popular, also caramel, hazelnut, and cinnamon).  Or if you'd like something cold, try a coffee based frappuccino.  There are a bunch of different flavors to choose from there too (caramel is VERY popular though the mocha has my vote) or if you just want to jump right into it, try the plain Coffee Frappuccino.  That's even less overbearing than a latte's coffee bitterness.

DQ has some good cold drinks too.  I think they are called Moolattes?

  6. Why drink something you don't like?

Latte isn't as bitter, depending on how much espresso is in it and how much sugar you add

  7. I think not

  8. Try Tea...much better!

  9. a latte is a lot better than coffee, but expresso's are worse

  10. Add sugar and the bitterness will go away.  I've also heard that a small pinch of salt helps sweeten it up.  I personally started drinking sugar, cream, with a little coffee to get started and slowly over a few years decreased the cream and sugar.  Now i like Coffee with a little cream and a little sugar.

Technically a latte is 1/2 coffee (or espresso) and 1/2 milk... it will taste lighter but if there is no sugar added it will still be pretty bitter.

My advice is to expirement with different amounts of cream sugar milk and different coffee flavors.  And when going to a coffee shop, order something different each time until you find what you like!

    good luck!

  11. yeah. a latte is a lot sweeter and contains less caffine

if u dont like the taste of is y do u drink it?

    mmm latte

  12. Save yourself the pain and hassle...drink tea. Despite having more caffiene than coffee, your body deals with it better, so you don't have the jitters as you can have after drinking coffee.

    Good Luck!

  13. i luv coffee u just have to get u to the taste of it

  14. Try some of the drinks at Starbucks.  I love the white chocolate mocha.

  15. A latte is basically espresso and milk. It's a little bitter so you need to put sugar in it to sweeten it up. If you put enough cream and sugar in regular coffee it won't be as bitter. Starbucks coffee is really strong so try Dunk 'n Donuts or McDonald's coffee first.
