Becoming a Lifeguard in Jacksonville FL?

I want to become a certified lifeguard here in Jacksonville Fl. I don't know any places that do training. I am 16 years old and I was thinking about using a online course since I am a very good swimmer.

I was wondering if this certification would work in JAX?

Call the American Red Cross at 358-8091 x1818 I'm a lifeguard instructor and we give all of our dates and locations to them so you have different places to chose from~~  Brandi
