Becoming a Social worker

I am currently attending school to gain a bachelors in social science with a concentration in education. I have started thinking that maybe I want to be a social worker instead of a teacher. What kind of degree would I need to do that?

  1. It really depends on the licensing requirements of your state, but most agencies that hire social workers prefer that you have a BSW or MSW- a Bachelor's in Social Work or a Master's in Social Work.  Many universities have programs like this that prepare you for the licensing process.
