I dont want to sound full of myself, but I know I am a talented Graphic Artist. I am usually modest, but I am trying to say I have the skills needed to be a professional Graphic Designer.

I am only 15, but I know I could sell my stuff! I would do a variety of things, Designing a poster, snowboard, skateboard, advertisments, photo perfection (lighting, red eye, ect..), changed photos (eg. pimples removal from pix), album artwork, I mean, I can do just about ANYTHING on photoshop! But who can I sell this stuff to PROFESSIONALLY!?!?!? I really wanna pounce on this early on! I have given away my stuff before 4 free, like album artwork, but I think I have some potential to sell them for money.

Do you know of companys looking for advertisments, posters, logos, ect. Or any people who may want to buy a custom greating card? Do you know where buisnesses like snowboard manufacturers/sellers look to buy their stuff? Or even, do any of YOU want something to buy?

  1. Go to www.craigslist.org

Find a city near you and look under

    the jobs category: art/media/design.

  2. kid, don't mean to bust yer bubble, but you are going to need some college, atleast an associates degree (2 years at community will do it and they have job placement) ofcourse you will have to graduate from high school first.

  3. you don't need a degree to become a graphic designer. some of the best graphic designers never completed college education. if you are a naturally good designer, then you can learn the stuff on your own, because in graphic design world, the experience greatly outweighs the degree you'll receive in college.

only reason that most designers go to college is if they don't have the drive to learn on their own, so they need someone else to show them. and in some cases if you want to teach the stuff in college, in which case you'd probably need master's degree.

  4. photoshop does not make someone a graphic designer.

  5. sign up here

  6. If you can make vector images or just turn some of your photo into really great designs, then try shutterstock.  Shutterstock is a FREE website where you can sell all of your pictures.  You said you were only 15, well, when I started I was only 16.  And I was able to make money!

If you are thinking about joining shutterstock, click on the link to sign up: http://submit.shutterstock.com/?ref=1825... clicking on that link you let the people at shutterstock know that I told you about how great shutterstock is and got you interested. Trust me, shutterstock is really fun to use, and it's a great way to make a little bit of pocket money. I'm just an amateur photographer (and a not very good one at that), but I made $2.25 my second day at shutterstock. I know people that make $500 a month on shutterstock or more!! And remember, since shutterstock is free, why not give it a go?
