Becoming a better athlete and being more explosive?

Would plyometrics be good for this?

Im not really looking for big muscle gains because I play baseball, so I need to be more explosive.

  1. yes, plyometrics will help..jumping and running will help u be a better athlete..one thing you can do is these things called "jammers"..they're built to help u be more explosive..also, stretching and being flexible will also help you become a better athlete..one good weight training exercise to do is squats..they'll help u be an all a round better player
