Well, our school is huge we have like 4 buildings. Core C,D,&E and the lunchroom/library. And I'm in core C. But I don't have my schedule yet. I'm not sure what a homeroom is. And what exactly "Hornet Tip Off" is. Our mascot is the Hornet and suppossedly that's the day we get our schedules. What should I expect? And what is homeroom? Thanks. And if it helps, I'm in Highschool.

  1. Homeroom is different for all schools. Sometimes it's a short class before your main classes, sometimes a study hall type thing that should be on your schedule, or a weekly thing like a study hall.

No idea about the hornet thing, lol.

Expect to be confused and scared, I was freshman year, but you'll get used to it. Maybe you can get a school map thing off the school website. Usually you can. Just ask an older person about the Hornet thing.

  2. Homeroom is a short period where your teacher takes attendance and the morning announcements are made.

Hornet Tip-Off just sounds like the first day of class, maybe a pep rally follows or some special event occurs to commemorate the day?

  3. Go to your school office, the ladies/men  in there are nice.

they are used to u freshies.
