Becoming a pharmacist, community college route.?

i want to become a pharmacist,

but i want to go to community college first to save money.

I would either like to go to university of cincinnati or ohio state for pharmacy.

how do i go about this with doing community college?

  1. I would say that it is a very good idea to start off at a community college. I would suggest getting all of your general education requirements done there before you transfer to cincinnati or ohio state. It will save you a lot of money and hassle.

    Also, you could try getting a job as a pharmacy tech or pharmacy intern at your local drugstore or a huge chain store like wal*mart. Not only will this look great when transferring schools and on your resume, it will show you all the basics in the pharmacy so you can get your foot in the door. Some employers even pay for part of your tuition if you work as a pharmacy student intern.
