Becoming a police constable, young offender conviction (one)

Question

i am going to become a police constable (in ontario) and i wanted to know if having a young offenders conviction (when i was 14/15) will ruin my chances. any thoughts?

well if ya way older that 15 now i think it wouldn't reflect on the police crime system...still it depends on whut sorta crime ya committed,if its a minor one then it should be erased from the system after a year or so...

well even if they don't see ya record there gonna interview and ask ya if ya had any previous convictions,then again its up to ya to tell the truth...
