  1. Yes, do your undergraduate degree in psychology, and whilst studying, try to get some experience working with young people, preferably in schools (try joining your university's Student Ambassadors scheme, or their volunteering society).  Then, when you reach your third year, you can apply for the PGCE course (secondary) in Psychology.  This takes a year to complete.  You have to get a 2:1 degree or above normally to get onto a good course.

More info can be found here: http://www.tda.gov.uk/Recruit.aspx

You can search institutions which offer the PGCE secondary in Psychology on this site too.

    Best of luck to you!

  2. Hi there. Yes, you will. As long as you have a degree, you can undertake the PGCE course and qualify to be a teacher of any age up to 18. It sounds to me like taking secondary level PGCE would be best for you: this is for ages 11-18.

The other route into teaching is doing a GTP, which is training 'on the job', you basically work in a school for a basic salary whilst being trained. This is a route that is very popular and only open to over 25s I believe.

    Hope this helps.

  3. just be your self and do what ever you think is best mate
