Becoming a taxi driver in dublin?

ive recently done my psv test and am hoping to become a taxi driver in dublin ireland.i was just wondering with the amount of taxis going around dublin now would i make a good living from this job.i seem to be getting mixed answers from the taxi drivers ive been asking.thanks in advance.

All the drivers I speak to make a very good living even for the amount of taxis on the road. Dublin traffic is what keeps the clock ticking putting more money in their pocket.
